PUMA FOLATRE POrtfolio Campaign

For this portfolio project, we set out to capture the essence of Puma footwear where performance meets streetwear. The goal was to visually communicate the brand’s athletic roots while highlighting its bold, urban edge.
 

The Pandora team approached this shoot with a focus on form, movement, and energy. We used sharp angles, directional lighting, and contrasting backdrops to bring out the design details from the texture of the soles to the stitching on the upper. Every shot was carefully composed to reflect not just the look of the product, but the attitude it carries.
 

We leaned into high-contrast setups and dynamic framing to give the images a sense of motion and grit, even in a static format. The result: a crisp, editorial-style photo series that captures the speed, power, and confidence embedded in Puma’s identity.

Photographing performance footwear like Puma’s required more than just clean product shots it needed movement, edge, and attitude. One of the biggest challenges was capturing the form and detail of each shoe while still making the images feel energetic and bold.

We worked with reflective surfaces, textured backdrops, and directional lighting all of which demanded constant adjustment to avoid glare, distortion, or distraction from the product itself. Maintaining sharpness while experimenting with dramatic angles and motion-based setups pushed our technical limits, but it paid off. The final visuals hit the sweet spot between sport and style just like the shoes.
